Tuscany in 4 days

Dear friends,

Among all the messages I have received on your side, a lot of them where asking for different itinerary in Tuscany. This is the reason why I am publishing this post in order to give suggestion regarding the different location you must go on 4 days trip in this marvelous area.

1- Florence (1 entire day)

Florence is the capital of Tuscany and without a doubt one of the places you can not miss while you are visiting Tuscany. Due to the number of monuments, places of interests and museums that the city offers, visiting Florence deserves a whole day of visit.

To know more about what to visit here some internal pages as well as websites where you will find enough material to arrange your visit to the city:

Useful website :

2- Siena and San Gimignano

Due to their proximity, Siena and San Gimignano can be visited on the same day. If you have more time to devote to Siena, I recommend a whole day for this town because it offers many museums and palaces worth visiting. If instead you have only a few days, I advise you to spend most of the day to Siena and an hour and half to San Gimignano.

As we have talked a lot in previous posts about both cities I indicated some interesting links:

Like Siena and San Gimignano, the cities of Pisa and Lucca are often visit together because of their closeness. As in the preceding cases I will not talk about these cities, but I will recommend a few items of interest:

4- Montepulciano y Pienza

A tour of the Val d'Orcia and the beautiful towns of Montepulciano and Siena, is in my view a must to visit in Tuscany. Be advised that 90% of the pictures you will see of Tuscany anywhere in the world have been taken in this area which is from my point of view the most beautiful part of the region.

Montepulciano and Pienza are also two really pretty villages that you should not miss in any case.

Below you can see some links of interest:

As always, I hope that this content will help you in discovering and enjoying the beautiful region of Tuscany.

Kind regards,

Giorgio
